ENRIQUE FANJUL. CEO of Iberglobal. Commercial Technician and State Economist. He served as Commercial Counsellor at the Spanish embassies in Egypt, China, Canada and the Netherlands.
He holds a PhD in Economics as well as Journalism and is a founding partner and CEO of the Iberglobal consulting firm, besides being a Commercial Technician and State Economist. He served as Commercial Counsellor in the Spanish embassies in Egypt, China, Canada and the Netherlands. As a private sector manager, he has been Director of the company Técnicas Reunidas Internacional (1990-98) and Partner-Director of ACE-Cooperación y Proyectos (1998-2003).
His management activity in institutional cooperation has been developed in the Asia-Europe Foundation, the Spain-China Council and the Spanish Centre for Institutional Relations. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Real Instituto Elcano, where he contributes to a blog with articles on globalisation, geostrategy and business internationalisation, as well as to various entities and organisations, such as the Spanish Exporters’ Club.
As a lecturer, he is a professor of the Master’s Degree on International Relations at the CEU-San Pablo University and a tenured lecturer in Applied Economics at the Autonomous University of Madrid on leave of absence.
