Development Institute
The Development Institute (INFO) is the agency for economic development of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. It is in charge of fostering and developing the business sector, encouraging competition, innovation and productivity of regional companies -particularly SMEs- so they generate high-quality sustainable employment. As an entity attached to the Regional Ministry of Business, Employment, Universities and Spokesperson’s Office, its attributions include:
- Technology and innovation development of regional companies.
- Promoting international expansion of companies.
- Providing consulting and assessment services to companies in investment projects, including those related to industrial facilities (business parks, industrial locations) and logistic hubs.
- Facilitating access to projects, funding and tools offered by the European Union.
- Participating in both conventional and innovative funding tools for SMEs and entrepreneurs.
- Backing up entrepreneurs to develop and strengthen their business projects.
World Trade
Point Federation
The World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) is an international NGO established in 2000 and registered in Geneva, Switzerland, under Swiss law, whose main goal is to take over the management and development of the innovative Trade Point programme of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Through its global network of business information and facilitation centres, known as Trade Points, and an extensive platform of e-Trade Desks, WTPF helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in more than 70 countries to trade globally using e-commerce and information and communication technologies.
WTPF’s core mission is to act as a global e-commerce facilitator and trade information provider for SMEs, particularly those in developing and less developed countries, via its unique human network and local knowledge in combination with global e-commerce platforms.
