PHD in Statistical Methodology for Scientific Research from the Università di Bologna (Italy) and BA in Management from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). He is the Director of Research and Statistical Methodology at the SME Observatory Foundation (Fundación Observatorio PyME de Argentina), founded by the Università di Bologna together with important Argentinean and European industrial stakeholders. Former visiting researcher at the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) and the Institute of Statistics, Biostatistics and Actuarial Sciences (ISBA) at UCLouvain in Belgium (2007-2022). His articles on spatial statistics and regional economics have been featured as publications in international scientific journals. He is also a consultant to various organisations such as the World Bank (WB), International Trade Centre (ITC), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), amongst others.
